nixonmb 0
Hi, I am not a hunter, but I have a Belgian Malinois. I adopted him from a shelter being told he was a golden labrador cross. After 2 years of "difficult" times a groomer told me what he actually is. He is very sweet to the family, very loving etc. but woe be to any small animal that gets around him. I had to pay for the neighbors cat (plus county fines) after he had a chew on it. Any suggestions on activities for him ? I don't have a man's upper body strength so training him to walk on a leash has been a challenge to say the least. When trying to get him to "fetch" he just steals the ball and hides it. He has literally hauled me OVER 4 foot hedges in his over excitement. I have chased him back and forth countless times. I took him to obedience class but the trainer was not very effective at handling him. Bob is a very sweet dog, and is very loving, obviously is the wrong breed for me, but it is too late now, I have had him for 5 years.

Find something that mentally and physically stimulates the dog, find a local schutzhund club, or a better trainer...........
blan89 159
all they have to do is hold someone until the fat c**t behind catches up,that's what 10-30 seconds max? Don't need a meathead for that. it's not like they're going into a few possibly armed people without back up.
