Decent Lamping Kit?

Recommended Posts

Hi, Im looking to get a lamping kit, I haven't been educated enough to know the difference between top quality and moderate lamping kits.

Im looking to get a decent enough one, preferably under £50, just wanted to know if any of you would be able to specify me a decent lamping kit.

High appreciated.

Thanks alot.

PS. Ive found this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gun-Light-Kit ... 850wt_1163

Is this worth the price? Can anyone supply me a second hand one?

EDIT: I use a Air Arms Pro Sport, hunting Rabbits.

that looks ok for a starter kit, only thing i would add is to pay a bit extra and get both filters (bunnies can get lamp shy to coloured beams as well as white so it can pay to vary the filter you use) only thing that mite go wrong is the torch but a torch alone isnt too expensive to replace its the mount and pressure switch thats expensive

I have a good little torch 120 lumen, focusable beam, dimmable to 10% of output, takes 2 x AA batteries, will fit in a standard torch/scope clamp, cost £25, add on a £10 clamp, cost £35, more than good enough for air rifle work!!

Would that happen to have filters? Or just a while beam?

On my air rifle I have been using the LED Lenser P7 with gun mount kit.

Very very bright focusable beam ( from flood to spot ), takes 4AAA batteries that last ages, comes with scope mount and tail switch with pressure pad to stick on your stock.

Happy days and not far off your bidget :

Simple, Quality Street wrappers over the lens end, held on with rubber band, tip give the wife the Quality Street and collect the wrappers, gets you bonus points! You can have a red filter, a green filter, a yellow filter and orange filter and a purple filter, supplied with free chocolates!

Ive been looking at Deben Tracer LedRay GL4 Gun Light,

180 Lumens, 120 metre beam, 8 Hour burn time.

This just is over my budget, but id rather spend alittle more and get something more effective.

I wanted to know, What bulb do i get, Ive been hearing i should get White and get a Red Filter, or just getting a red bulb. Whats my best option?
