I saw some really nice fhxgh Xdhgh in Downpatrick around that time very impressive dogs bred by some local lads around that way Sean Mc had them and recall a dog called "Bruno" Y.I.S Leeview Quote Link to post
Simoman 110
I would worry about the instinct to bay and run scent........ Quote Link to post

Taffy, 2 year old very hard dog but still has alot to learn. Just started running on the lamp and doing very well considering his breeding. The line has been bred for over 30 years producing some very good dogs for the hill. Pics not the best sorry. Quote Link to post

forest of dean redneck 12,023
didnt woods have some hound /wheaten crosses while back. Quote Link to post
123456 146
As said I'd be worried about the natural instinct to bay/ be vocal. I'd imagine they'd be handy for foxing around the tors and marking but not so much for lamping Quote Link to post
tylerasker 6
To be honest he's surprised me and my lamping partner on the lamp. He doesn't make a murmur, and he knows his job once u start calling! He doesn't hunt on at all on the lamp, and for a 27.5" dog he scoops up rabbits to. But as iv said the line was bred dwn from hound crosses but there's collie, deerhound, and a dash of saluki in the make up. Quote Link to post
