ferreting contract?

Recommended Posts

Most pest controllers are too busy doing bed bugs wasps and mice, to be able to get out ferreting,, that and the fact that 99% of folk want to do it for nowt !

I get paid the odd bit fuel money, but thats it,, you will never make a living ferreting,, or Simon Whithead wouldn`t be draggin his ass around the fair circuit to earn a crust

Closest i've come to it is getting bunged a few notes for agreeing to ferret some big grounds (gardens) for a pest controller mate, who had gassed it a few times, and then did not want to spend money on more gas to clear the odd one or two coming back in. He just charged the client an extra 40/50 quid, and bunged me it for fuel, and gave the client my number. Most folk realize good land is like gold dust.

there a good few pesters up and down the country that ferret for money,, i myself have a pest control company and get paid to do some rabbit contol,,,, dont get me wrong most of the threads i put on here are from permision and sport... but i do do paid work when it comes in.

alot of it , for me is big country houses,, that have small problems, perhaps half a dozen rabbits causing a problem... but i also have contract work on golf courses, and one or 2 other sites, like an old landfill.

for me paid farm work is the worst,, cos farmeres are very tight, and they want to see total wipe out,,, if they see a few bunnys afterwards they think you aint done it properly.
