dai dogs 2,141
i do the same routine every day- dogs out of kennel into land rover drive about 4 mile to place where i exercise them. today didnt get 2 mile dogs started fighting. by the time i stopped & parted them the dog that i thought that was the dominant one was in a bad way.rushed him to vets fingers crossed. steve123 29
every dog has its day, maybe the underdog was waiting his turn and caught the dominant one when he wasnt expecting it, as you probably know dominance is mainly in the mind, not always the biggest or strongest dog, youll have to watch them for a while as the shift in power may take a while or reverse again, hope your dogs are ok all the best Quote Link to post

hogdog 61
In my experience the dog that appears to be most dominant is usually the one that's most ready to scrap at the drop of a hat (usually a bitch), not necessarily the one that would win in a fight. When it comes to a really serious scrap dominance has very little to do with it IMO. Quote Link to post

Anyway this dog was quite timid of other dogs, and bit shy of people. When ever i saw him i give him bit of fuss+ food, he wasnt over big 24-25lb thin as rake. One day this feckin big GSD grabbed him like he had before and other dogs as well. But this day he must have thought feck it, and he grabbed GSD round the muzzle and shook the shit out of it, i thought the GSD was nearly dead. And from that day that GSD never fecked with him again. you never know when any dog will fight, you just never know when they will kick off 1 Quote Link to post
