whats the best show you have been to big or small for me the best menories would have to be the first couple of lambourn shows when they were on the downs .brilliant memories of those early shows the classes were massive most years .showing was in its infancy as far as lurchers were concerned and lambourn had everything stalls every kind of lurcher you can think of and then some. lurchers terriers ferrets everything for sale plus people from all over britain and ireland cominng together for this show a bit like appleby is for the gypsies if you were in to lurchers you had to be there mind you some of the memories not so good was there when the infamous punch up started riight in the middle with 2 little ones quite frightening at the time trying to get them out of the way .still good times though .

Lowther 96, Won Best fell/Lakeland Pup and his litter sister took 3rd,Was going to walk out when pointed to ,but was redirected onto slabs,Chuffed to bits as just went down for a day out,Pup had been sick on way down too.Still got the Mick Cawston print of the 2 Black Fells,I treated myself to for winning. Was the First show I had Put a Dog into that size. :toast: When I got home gave his mum a big hug,she is always in my heart a wee Diamond a good wee worker to boot!:wub:

i liked the lowther good show to take the wife and kids to. i won best pup in show with my old russel bitch in the late 90s 99 i think. my old dog trusty got reserve there also i think it was 96. i remember they where big classes then must of been 30 or more just in the russel dog class. the great yorkshire was also a good show then. never made the lambourn would of liked to have seen that show. dont do many shows now but used to enjoy the craic when i was younger. happy days.
