Never Must say I find this gun has a sweetspot and performs at its best at around 150BAR, if I miss anywhere above or below this charge limit its obviously the guns fault not mine . I missed a sitter squirrel the other day Tony! he was behind the aviaries so I went on a seek and destroy mission, I waited until he skipped up off the floor and presentd me a lovely clear side view shot! I put the criss hairs behind his eye and missed him cleanly , How I don't know. thankfully this didn't spook him too much and the second shot did him just behind the front legs, he's now in the freezer awaiting a decent burial in some young hawks food crops . atb Jasp Quote Link to post

Phantom 631 Posted May 24, 2011 Author Report Share Posted May 24, 2011 I went out the other night Simon 1st time in a good while, I did start the write up but the lappy hung (again, must must replace the mouse on the power wheel, this ones getting old) I'll do it in a text file and then post it sometime in the next couple of days, I'm hoping to get back to Brough tomorrow, but to see my daughter and son. I'm also trying to arrange a full day out on the paddock and cemetery so that'll be good and I'll write that up as well. Tony Quote Link to post
gurtwurz 793 Posted May 24, 2011 Report Share Posted May 24, 2011 i can take a hint... i havent posted up any of my mooches for a while cos i havent been able to upload from my phone to the lappy, but i've managed to sort that now. give us a while and i'll do a review of the mighty pro sport too although a post that essentially says ' ace!!'about 50 times may not be as in depth as some would like lol to be honest, i've been out enjoying the damn thing so much i havent put so much time on here either, except at quiet spots during working hours, mainly to see whats flared up into a row over all next... hint taken, will sort summat out real soon. cheers, wurz 1 Quote Link to post

No pressure or hurry but, you lads put some great shooting into your trips and it's good to read about them. You both write very well. I know what you mean John about the prosport and 100 variants of amazing accuracy it can hit a fly's botty at distance....but it's great to read all the same. You have nothing less than a masterpiece work of the air rifle maker's art now. Tony, if fuel wasn't such a b*****d price, I'd run up' M62 to pick you up from Hull and bring you over for a good day's shooting with me and Andy and get you home again pal . Phantom 631 Posted May 25, 2011 Author Report Share Posted May 25, 2011 Thank you Simon Si's probably freezing his nuts off; a pistol shooting friend of mine in Labradore (Canada) says for the 1st time in 6 months his lawn has now been free from snow for three days Davy contacted me yesterday by phone, his "Tour" went well and I reckon he'll be back with the write ups and vids soon Your correct Fuel is a f'king laugh at the moment and by the time we catch our breath again and stop splitting our sides, they'll up the price even more!
