HELP STOP THE EXCESSES IN THE FOOTBALL PREMIERSHIP WAGES !!!

PLEASE READ BELOW !!!

Last Night on TV I watched with disgust Lord/Sir Alan Sugar investigate the reasons why footballers wages in recent years have spiralled out of all control. I watched the players , agents, managers and chief executives of the FA blaming each other for these excesses. The bottom line was that since Sky Sports took over TV coverage of the football premiership, Sky have been giving more money to each club than the entire league used to receive in previous years.

Some might say its a good thing giving these clubs a lot more money to buy better players and stadiums, but in reality you the public are giving them the money via your Sky Sports subscriptions.

This is a simple step by step process to show how you pay the players wages.

  1.
  2. The public give Sky the money Via monthly subscriptions.
  3. Sky give the money to the FA.
  4. The FA give the money to the clubs.
  5. The clubs give the money to the players.

The players, managers, agents and chief executives don't want things to change, they are milking the public every month with the Sky Sports packages and they will continue to do so.

They don't want things to change !!!

You the public are the only ones to stop this madness.

If every household that subscribes to Sky Sports cancelled their subscriptions for 3 months we could end this problem very quickly.

Please cancel your Sky Sports Subscriptions for 3 months and STOP these ridiculous excesses !!!

Please can you pass this on to everyone in your Facebook and Twitter account.

Stop whingeing about how much another man earns and just enjoy the football......if you dont want to watch it dont pay your sky bill, simple.

Today football fans of all levels can watch massive amounts of football, years ago you watched Match of the Day on a saturday night and if your team wasnt on one of the three games that was tough shit !

We all have to pay for lifes simple pleasures and somebody somewhere will gain from that.....its simple mathematics....make a decision live with your decision.

All that would happen is the top players would feck off abroad to the top teams in the other big european leagues. Plus the sugar daddy clubs like Man City/Chelsea would be able to pull further away from the pack. The clubs you would hurt most would be the ones who don't benefit from massive global fan bases. Clubs with good local support but no chance of pulling in the same amount of money as the big ones do with good overseas recognition..

A very poorly thought out idea IMO.

:censored: Who gives a F*ck if players piss off abroad! it mite let some of the English players get to play for an English team instead of the non sporting way of teams having that much money they buy anyone from around the world who scores a lot of goals to ensure they win most of the time. Football has got like F1 racing when you knew schumacher was going to win Fu**ing boring :boredom: some of the Sunday or non league games are better than the over payed wimpy cry baby puffs in the premier league, and Sunday league lads play for the love of the game. One more point, all the money they are on and still can't win the world cup, that's the difference between the team of 1966 who loved the game and had pride in their country, and the shit we have now who play for who ever pays the most. :wankerzo4: :wankerzo4: all of them.

It doesn't bother me in the slightest that the top players earn big bucks....thats life!! They have the skills for the job and they get the going rate for it...simples!! What does bother me is when the club you grew up with, the club you love, the club you support home, away and all over the world doesn't get the big money deals from Sky and you cant attract the big players because they cost to much.... :wallbash:

It's all going to fall about your ears sooner rather than later :boogie:

once again Baw , :notworthy: AGREED :notworthy:

I can't believe they can't see it mate, the warning signs are there for all to see. Are they too busy suckling the tit to notice? Foreigners have took the passion out of derbies, even the old firm, why? Cos they don't have the same passion and connection to the clubs that traditional home grown players have. Same can be said about managers, not a big problem, easily sacked..... Unlike owners :boogie:

This is quite amusing.....listening to Scots ( who watch one of the worst leagues in football every week ) discussing whats wrong with the English premier league ( possibly the strongest league in WORLD football )

As for the chap on about sunday footballers playing for the passion of the game.....you put a weekly 5 figure income in front of them to play for even an average pro club,or playing for the passion of the game on a sunday morning.....and you see where his passion lies ;)

Do you actually enjoy a game any less because you know the players salaries ? if you do,then maybe the problem is with you and not them ....if you dont then why do you care !!

It doesn't bother me what a footballer gets paid. English football is got so much things going wrong it's mind-blowing. Just because I live in Scotland doesn't mean I can't comment or observe. You support shit every week, doesn't stop you from talking about man u etc.

IMO you can't blame the players for wanting as much loot out of their careers as possible, yes the amounts are crazy that the players are paid but that's the way the game is.It's human nature to get the most £££ you can by doing the least for it.I,m a Sunderland supporter & when Bent left for Villa i was gutted but the shite he came out with bigger club, history ,etc was laughable....what he failed to say was that Villa had offered him 80K a week as opposed to the mear 50K a week SAFC were paying him at the time :o
