You must have mild winters snoop, if I stood my dog in a river for 20 mins after a days hunting, it would be dead lol..... Might work in the summer though......

did you ever see the photo I put up with the ice frozen on the back of the coot? If I kept my dogs in a river for 20 minutes, there feet would be the last of there worries lol. I don't know why you lot bother with salukis..... Between them needing to stand in rivers to cool down and not listening to a word you say, are they worth it? I reckon the same amount of folk get salukis as a status symbol as dos bull bosses. Not you snoop, I know you do a bit but others mate.

i dont know if folk get them as a status symbol or not .,.cant see what it achives ..i could think of better status symbols like a walled eyed blue merl collie ..lolol.. the last place i want to be at the end of a hard days walking ..which it is hard walking when the mud is sucking yer feet into the gorund every step ..and mud clinging to yer boots ..is to be stood next to a river wet through cold and aching ...i bet the dog thinks the same ..it dosent exactly like it ...but i think it helps..clean and sooth the dogs feet...there only stood in the water up to there stoppers ...and yes baw ..there worth every headache they give you because if you get a good un there are the only ones that can do the job week in.. week out on the big land .and my dog and quite a few other lads i know are as obedient as any other lurcher ..same again its like any other breed good uns bad uns ...bad owners good owners ....

Oh I get it, they've developed this dog that can run at speed over long distances on some of the toughest, stoniest ground a dog can run on, for over 7,000 years but they forgot to select for good feet....how remiss of them!
