poacher3161 1,766
Can make good allrounders then can a lot of lurchers bred by crossing a sighthound lurcher back to a working type bred lurcher.I have seen a few and owned one over the years that was good at catchin edible quarry and one that also was very good on foxes. inan 841
whats this cross like ? Just wondering. Would they only be good on large flat land ? What would they be like as an all rounder for all quarry ? Butch, my first lurcher was bred this way wonderfully, agile, speedster who could jump like a stag £12, off of a guy from Dartford in Kent known locally as " Caveman". Sadly Butch contracted Parvo which was just becoming established in the UK, I had to have him PTS at `18 months old. Collie/ Grey x Saluki/ Grey A good choice for an allrounder. imo.
