OS; Last week or two now I've had a few big, fat, lazy Blow Flies appear in this room. Evenings mainly. They haven't the Oomph to move much. But they coast down to this work station and I squish them with ease.

Could be a poisoned rat's got up into the old thatch, but I doubt it. Could be coming out of winters rest. but they're fat as f*ck.

God alone knows what's going on ~ and he's not likely to be telling the likes of us anyway.

stingers at mine have finally died, after a bad frost last week. some of the ragwort (evil stuff) is still going strong. snowdrops have started coming up in my garden. theres's a pigeon building a nest in the tree next to my cottage (it won't be building anything after tomorrow, mind... :gunsmilie: ). had a big fat fly buzzing round my living room a week ago. damn thing kept flying into my monitor, then vanishing.. took 3 days to finally squash it. it's all gone bloody nuts!

i thought our house was bad but we stayed in a b&b over the weekend in mullingar and it was awful... baby flies everywhere and all lethargic and easy to squish
