Saiger 2
These are pictures from last saturday when i went out with my ferret and whippet pup. Me and my dad (just to mkeep me right) went over the local wood. We did three sets first was on a hill and second was in some trees at the top of a quarry. The first set was a three or four holer and after about six or seven minutes the rabbit came slowly out. Picked up the ferret and it had clumps of fur on its claws. Second set was a three holer and the ferret just went straight through. Third set was at the bottom of the wood and was six holer and we got a rabbit out of that set... and once again the ferret had clumps of fur on agen. Does anyone have any tips of what to do with a fast ferret? cheers, Lee(14) Edited February 16, 2011 by Saiger Quote Link to post

2bob 9
are you using a locator with your ferret. your ferret's doing what it was bred for.. sound's like it's locating the rabbit's but can't turn them it is a small jill or big hob atb Quote Link to post
Saiger 2
Thanks for the replys guys. I work it with a Mark 3 locator and I'd say it's not that big for a hob ferret. Quote Link to post
