skycat 6,174
I had a tiny OEG banty cockerel who wouldn't hesitate to fly at me, trying to gouge my legs. I used to take a broom down the garden to fend him off and I got quite handy at meeting him in mid flight: bit like playing tennis I guess He 'flew' through the air with the greatest of ease but after a few times of ending upside down in a tree or against the fence he decided I was bigger and nastier than him. He still used to try and creep up on me from behind some times but as long as I was facing him he kept his distance. Made me feel a bit of an idiot though: having to back out of the chicken run!
