pregnant does

i was out ferreting over the the weekend and most of the does we caught were pregnant, just wondering if anybody else come across this.

Same back end of last season we finished end of febuary start of march to give them a chance, and my jills are showing sighns of coming into season allready , although if we get a cold spell end of this month they will abort them and reabsorb the nutrients but if there isn't a cold spell could make for good sport next year happy days

Had to dig to a couple of weeks ago and found the ferret curled up in a nest with week old+ kits..... Working it back it meant they were conceived during the snow and cold.

yes we had 4 out of 6 does that were full of young. north yorks. area last week.
