lurchergrrl 1,441
I've recently entered a competition (that I haven't a hope in hell of winning ). I tasked myself with winter sunshine photos this week and I'm glad I did: after the recent grey shite weather of winter, taking them cheered me up no end. And my three favorites Nothing like mooching in the sun to lift your spirits
MuttleMcTuttle 21
Oh my... you're getting a bit good at this! the last shot is a winner for me, but it depends on the subject of the competition. Half the battle is selecting the right pic for the job... Good luck and thanks for posting such lovely pics!
skycat 6,174
Second from last is my favourite: from the point of view of clarity and composition, but I love the dogs jumping over the fence one.

Half the battle is selecting the right pic for the job... Good luck and thanks for posting such lovely pics! Luckily the competition is loosely defined as 'winter photos' and I've entered loads - landscapes are my weakest shots, but I put them in anyway along with dogs, kids, birds whatever. Most of the entries are well out of my league but you can't win if you don't play I'm just having fun learning; it does amazing things for my peace of mind, taking pictures. Second only to going out with my dogs. Luckily I can do both at once

lurchergrrl 1,441
Brilliant shots Jen Clowbridge reservoir in winter........does it get any better? It's a nice place, for sure. There's a few too many joggers round it tho I'm having that last picture printed up; it's definitely one of my most favourite shots. I was framing it and the dog wandered into the shot so I took it. I've got one without her as well but it doesn't convey the same feeling. Thanks everyone, glad you all liked them
