zini 1,939
Hi Headshot, If you want a proper answer from a proffesional then go onto the BSA Owners Group and send a PM to a man called Tench. He will give you a price for doing it for you and will do a proper job mate. Talking about upping power on here is not allowed buddy sorry. Its also not allowed on the BSA Owners Group so please ensure you PM Tench who's real name is Simon Howarth. He will not tell you how to do it just give you a quote buddy. Si Quote Link to post

matt_hooks 188
So basically your asking for a strip down guide....... What I would understand by "blueprinting" is taking an item made to a certain set of tolerances, and fettling the parts so that they are much closer to the "blueprint" dimensions. So all the parts work exactly as designed, with no poorly sized parts. With a gun it can be the difference between a crisp, clean discharge at the required power, and a shedload of trigger creep followed by a variable result. Quote Link to post
Buster321c 1,010
Dont believe the hype Matt ........ Quote Link to post

matt_hooks 188
Sorry double post ... Let's put it this way. When I "blueprint" an engine that's what I do, and it makes things work sooo much better. Now if they're claiming to do it to the rifle, then they'd better do it! Quote Link to post
StevoSmith 147
take it to your gunsmiths........ Quote Link to post

I think it's possible from my own experiences with JB that he does not use the term because that's not what he does. Otherwise by definition loads of BSA guns are leaving the factory out of design tolerance, which simply can't be right. If it is right, then they should damn well do it under warranty.
