longnetter 32
nettenmakin I managed to work out what that meant Was that you in the video Dutchie? I noticed that the guy was tieing onto D rings. Is that common in Holland? I've tried it and they're a bit fiddly to start but the general finish is better than nets tied onto O rings ATB Quote Link to post
Dutchie 5
Hi Longnetter It's a ferreting friend of me in the video not me He makes nets that way i do it otherwise and have wood endings they are real easy and that works better for me What i make is an old dutch way you can find them here My linkhttp://frettenleven.punt.nl/index.php?gr=783044 But i also can make it like that in de video and have done so in the past. Know what you mean but the way wel make the knot is super and no problems there . I always use nylon and the knot is strong and not lose at all. D- ring of O ring are also here common just what one prefer or have they use i stick to the woden parts because the can't get mixed up and are quick set. Robert Quote Link to post

Dutchie 5
I live in the Netherlands in Noordscheschut a small town near Hoogeveen http://maps.google.nl/maps?hl=nl&biw=1440&bih=785&q=noordscheschut&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=Noordscheschut&gl=nl&ei=KaQtTfiiB4ygOuO1-bkK&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CBoQ8gEwAA There are more ways than one to get a ferret from me should not be a big problem i think Or if there are more that want some one could come and select some and take them to England But there also are other ways for sending cost will be more of course they need all the papers and enting in order chip and sending all together But that could be done . Can't say what the cost wil be but less than travel to me for sure. Quote Link to post
Dutchie 5
Best option would be if you knew someone that travel to the Netherland who could take them on the way back home I think that or the other way around comes from holland and travel to your place. Falconors and hunters do that on regulary basis from Holland to GB for hunting Edited January 12, 2011 by Dutchie Quote Link to post
