  1. my small hob 250 gram 1st june born now on almost addult proportions perhaps at most he will gain an other 100 grams but not more for sure . I am proud because in the early days they had them, and they where gone for long they fit in the pocket of your shirt and old trappers had them for illigal rabbeting back then. I am now the only one in Holland who breed them first in long time . They are not able to hold the rabbit so digging is no longer needed after all that is not my kind of hobby (digging is not ferreting ;-) ) https://www.(!64.56:886/robert.frettenleven.7/posts/174

  5. In Holland some hunters use ferrets to make fox jump there hole Ferret is smelling like a big man with afthershave and wearing a bell I wouln't use my best ferret for that purpose it can always turn out bad ! Some do or did use them for they fear no bigger predators !
  6. Polecat attacks fox Video about a polecat who is not afraid for a fox http://frettenleven.nl/?page_id=845
  7. Hi all Had to move to a new domain to stay on-line , the old frettenleven site had old software and they take it off-line some day soon. So i had to remove all the stuff to the new site and it looks quiet well as i may say so. It is in Dutch but still worth while, i have some really nice photo shoots of my ferrets on-line in natural settings, so they look like polecats and some of them are halfbreed You find them under fretten/aanbod look for fotoshoot Just come and have a look if you like commands are welcome
  8. By the way i have 11 ferrets in stock some of them polecat mixes the one on the photo is a 1/4 polecat and a real good huntingferret small and fast.

  12. Hi all I wonder if it is correct that micro ferrets are cross-breed ferret x weasel i heard they where , but are they? What are the complications of that breed are they all fertile or do they have hybrid sterility like male sterility and females fertile Any one have an idea ? or have experience? please help me out here, if you know more, i would like to know all about it
  13. Yes they are well looked after i feed them naturally they get all kinds of animals bud mainly chicken a mixed chopped meat with bones and all left overs from butchers . Thats why they stay contend and don't start developing biting habits. i can handle them all easily and they never bite. just like normal ferrets.
  14. We call them frunz a mixed name for fret x bunzing the dutch name of wild polecat mixed together frunz
  15. Well the music is for question not everybody may like it but i do thanks TC you have it right it's Beethoven !! ferrets had no voice in the choice of music!
