boyo 1,398
i used to thumb all over when i was younger and more hardy and always used to give a lift to hitch hikers but in todays climate wouldnt fancy doing either and you dont see so many doing it like you did years ago. wippydoo 12
i used to hitch all over the place many years ago but i wouldnt do it now.a tip a lorry driver once gave me was always travel with lorry drivers theyre literally knights of the road and apart from anything else you cant drive down a small country lane in a great big lorry without it being noticed so theres less chance of them going off the beaten path with you.have to say i usually travelled with lorry drivers and never had any trouble and a lot of them stood me a meal in a greasy spoon cafe
Ideation 8,217
Turky!? Thats mad, good effort thoe. Shame you wernt closer to me rew, if the dogs where on in swindon i would of give you a lift for nowt lad. Aye mate it was mad, i had a lot of strange but interesting diversions and met some very cool and some slightly odd folk. I lived in Budapest for a few years and we used to make bets with folk and have hitching races, to other countries and back home. Sometimes people got lost for some time.
