Don't fret too much, yet. Ferrets are domesticated creatures and when they get out they often don't stray too far. Get outside with your pals and keep looking. Mine have returned to their open nest box before now, when they've got tired and hungry.

Good luck :)

Although I can agree with Bert I've lost fezzers this way twice, both times my fault the buggers obviously found a better life  Sorry for your loss mate but these things do happen

Definatly worth setting a cage trap (if it is big enough for a ferret ) and putting cardboard or wooden boxes stuffed with hay about the garden with a dead rabbit tied securely in each . . They do sometimes wander aimlessly away but quite often stay in the area. Keep looking and if you are on good terms wit any neighbours ask them to do the same . Good luck .

hi mate

ring the RSPCA, if someone finds it it will be the first call there make,

or check for a ferret rescue close to your location, ive had ferrets returned a few times just by phoning these people.

im sure 99% of us who keep ferrets have had a few go missing there are escape artists..

good luck
