First time ever i got a won the lotto scam email today lol...was wondering though in this day and age do people still believe such shite? Ok they must do for these africans to keep sending the emails but even after all the warnings given?

Also loads of people reakon their is aload of internet scams...aside from this...ive seen warnings about pet scams but how do they get your money? Also just wondering what else is out there...cant all be such basic stuff surely? I mean a keylogger isnt hard to send :\

a lot of forged euro notes around at moment, mostly 50's but some 20's as well

 

some were even so good that they got into the banks un-noticed for a short while.

brand new lcd tv's + laptops being sold door to door, tv's dont work and are factory rejects, laptops are also either factory rejects or a piece of wood in a laptop bag.

 

they tell the story they are end of line stock etc.... in reality factorys payed them to dispose of them.

Had been offerd a few fake notes before. Id love to know how they get whats actually needed to make em.

 

Aside from the emails about money has anyone ever been given a link to a phisher site? Think i spelt it correct basicly a duplicated page of a website for you to log into and details are fowarded to the scammer.

 

Watching the real hustle deffiantly amazes me to see how thick some are. Thing is i know of one time i was scammed and sure been others.

i love that show, just goes to show you need to know the law and be very very watchful when in public or dealng with strangers, so far my hubbys been caught out twice, maybe its because im more security consious/paranoid and dont make as tempting a mark.

I sold some fishing gear in the loot earlier this year and i got an email asking to buy the rod of me . The wording of it seemed bizzare , like it was done by someone copying english from a dictionary , so i told them id arranged to sell it already . They then sent another back saying they would give me double the price but i would have to give them my name , address , phone number and bank details so they could deposit $2000 dollars in my account (the rod was £50) and once in , i could take the £100 out and send the rest back to them . It was either a rubbish attempt at money laundering or an even worse attempt at a scam either way it makes you wonder what kind of halfwit falls for this kind of stuff.
