Any good books?

Good day to you all,can any body recommend any good terrier books for a good read for someone with a general interest

in terrier work,maybe with all the techniques used and different quarry species plus working terrier breeds/crosses historically and present day and terminology of the sport.

i know plummer wasa crank and i am no way a fan but his book the fell terrier was not a bad read history wise etc,dave harcombes books are not bad,sean frain lol i wouldnt waste your time pal

my misses bought me "the patterdale terrier by sean frain" thought it was an ok read (never read harcombe/chapman or darcy though) just a question, but what did use all not like about the frain books?

working terrier by plummer is ok, plenty of history about the breeds if you like that.

the working bedlington is shit, a rat hunt in a garden and talking to a guy on a boat, its just wank.

harcombes newest one is a good read as is his badger digging book

I don't really rate Chapman's books, 'Work them hard...' by Harcombe is the best book you'll read on working terriers IMO, 'Dig Deep...' by Darcy is also a quality book as are the two little terrier volumes he has. Avoid Frain books...SHITE.

Whats up with evryone on the Frain situation, im reading "The Middleton Strain of Working Terrier" by Sean Frain at the moment and so far so good, only a short way through but a good read so far.
