Kieren 2
Hi, I own FAC and im just enquiring as to whether any of the spring/gas ram combinations can be whacked up to over legal limit? Obviously the PCPs can so just curious. Also which guns are easiest to do so? im thinking about putting in for a variation of my .22 rimmy as i have two slots on my cert and replacing it with an air rifle. Dont fancy the messing about of recharging. So can anyone recommend a make/model that the power can easily be tuned up. Thanks in advance Quote Link to post

Kieren 2
A friend of mine says he had a Theoeben Eliminator and it was pushing 36ft/lb. I am abit skeptical. Is this kind of power achievable? Quote Link to post

Is this kind of power achievable? It's doable at a push in .25 but even then it must've been horrible to shoot. They jump like a M F-er when the ram's pumped up too far... Quote Link to post

On all Theobens and the 90 the pressure in the ram can be adjusted if you've got the gear to do it and a licence to suit. It must be remembered that once an airgun's been declared as being FAC that's it. In the eyes of the law, it's a firearm forever even if it's turned back down. A real arse to sell it on... As the guy's already got an FAC, stick to subs in your RF if you need a low powered round. Airgun's are good at what they're good at, unless you've got a problem with getting the land passed for RF. Cheers. Quote Link to post

I've another one now in .177 that's a very useful airgun for those longer range shots.... Quote Link to post
