I feel for anyone with cancer or having to live with it's consequences. We lost my young auntie to Cancer and 2 years previous to that my 14 year old brother passed on through something different. Anyone who has to bear the pain of losing a love one or watch them degenerate will total understand shot. (I say this as I dry my eyes  )

My wife is one of 12 children, she has lost her mother and father and 6 of her brothers and sisters to this disease, 6 months ago she lost a brother and sister 3 days apart, this week another brother has been diagnosed with it,surely this time we will get a break and he,ll get through it.

I couldn't watch the clip, but I am sure it puts things in perspective and makes you think. I lost my mom and dad to cancer, and my sisters and I are afraid every day that it will take us to, which is a terrible thing to obsess on. I sell supplemental insurance policies, some of the stories I hear are horrible, some are wonderful, and since I "feel" such a connection with these people, I absolutely love what I do. Good luck to everyone out there with friends, family and themselves who are battling cancer. I am not a religious person but I hope for a cure every single day.

the company I work for does heart/stroke policies, cancer, and some others, and unless YOU have had heart problems or cancer, your family history doesn't matter. Which is good news for those of us who have bad family history to worry about! I guess with the NHC you guys don't battle with the high costs of health care like we do, but I would assume there must be SOMETHING available to help cover utilities, travel to hospitals etc. Worth their weight in gold if you can get one.

my brother died 5 year ago on the morning of his birthday at 46.to a heart attack.

my mum who was fit as a fiddle went down hill fast.and within 8 months diagnosed with lung cancer.had the chemo and sailed through it.we thought all was well for a few months.then it just came and took her.she would have been 74 yesterday.in the last five years things have been tuff for us.with other extended family members passing.and then the brother inlaw died at 48 on the first bank holiday of this year.i walk regually in the woods at the back of the crematorium with the dog.and always have a word with her and my bro when passing there spot.just wish she could have hung on to see the arrival of her great grand daugther.still the boy done her proud and named her after her.

happy birtday mum.the best a son could ask for.

Guys lifes been tough on most of us, and god knows we've all had our fair share of hurt,

this last few years have been tough for me personally... highs lows, and mainy lows this last year...

Although i still hurt over personal issues, my family have been a rock, so indeed, tell your family member tonight that you love them....

for one day it will be too late....

and as i try to keep myself for crying, listen to these lyrics...

stay strong, yours in the battle of life.........

Snap.
