hey hey

on the otherside of the action just under were the mag goes in,if there is a bolt where it looks like the head has been snapped off its anti tamper, but if you have a torx head screw it aint having said that they did put some with a tamper proof torx in but thats an easy fix most good hardware stores will have the screwdriver torx/bit you need

hi all,

davy,i have answered your pm,thanks.

markha,no it wasnt that cheap one advertised the other day, this one wasnt even advertised just word of mouth.

phantom,i must admit i pumped it up to 200bar as instructed, and put quite a few pellets through it untill it went down to around the 100bar mark but there wasnt no change in power?

when you say that they arnt regulated,is there a regulater i can buy to put on it or does it not work like that?,im new to these pcp guns and only ever had the spring and pump types.

I have just phoned this guy to see about a regulator for my 510. He said although he fit one for Dave, its not something he would do for anyone else. He just happened to have one in stock off another gun at the time he fit one for Dave and said the upkeep and servicing the airarms need after a regulator has been fit can cause problems, apparently they need servicing very often otherwise they dont work, he also said this can cause him problems if the person doesn't live local and it has to be posted everytime something goes wrong.

I just thought I would let you all know.

Nothing untill you have a Chronograph , if you take it over and its checked , then your right in the shite !! Maybe someone near an help if you don`t have one . If you do , set it about 11.25 wont go wrong there , but make sure you check it at the top of the power curve . Bust .

And its not a torx screwdriver you need its atually a security torx screwdriver size 10 in fact, because the screw you undo has a dimple in the middle of it. Once you undo that theres a very small allen screw in there which you adjust.

As others have said, dont do it until you have access to a chrono. The adjuster will only give you about a very slight bit more power but should get you upto 11 which is more what the s410 normally puts out. If it doesnt, then there are problems elsewhere in the gun.

To be honest, for the sake of a few quid id be tempted to give the gun a full service. The seals arent expensive to buy and all you need is a set of allen keys to strip the thing down and service it.

As far as the Torx bit / security Torx bit it is the case `sometimes ` . In recent guns , or guns that have been into AA for a service , its just a domed screw with no allen key / torx bit , anything . like this -

DSCF3236.jpg

Normally capped with Part Number S680 blanking screw in Pre Anti Tamper guns .

There are other A/T parts installed in the Breech of the gun .

You wont get an AT Air Arms apart . Tilly give your location out you may get some help that way .
