Was out first thing this morning with the dogs, and you could see it was going to be a good day. Went to the local Whippet track, the good weather brought a few people out, a few Lurchers there aswell. Gave the dogs a run up, but bloody hell, it was warm. Just had them out local before kennelling them up for the night, and they are lying on the concrete in the run, must be cooler than there boxes. I lived for 26 years in the Middle East, but believe me, I don't like the heat, I prefer the winter, when I can get out and work the dogs !

its been a cracker, when i was in the middle east i managed to avoid the heat as much as possible then came home on leave and took the kids up to holy island for the day and got heat stroke!!

 

the missus is just taking the dogs out now im away in the bath and looking forward to a nice dark rum and coke followed by the wifes culinary speciality............. beans on toast
