falcongit 242
hi,i checked my new permission out last night to see where all the rabbits were comeing out of there holes,so i no for next time for when i go shooting,it takes ages to sus it all out, theres a lot off woodys about, and i did see 2 magpies as well,i took some pics of the area.. as you can see there is nice pond there as well, that allways brings wildlife in to an area.i sat under a tree for a while just seeing what about,a nice pheasent poped its head at about 10 yards away left that alone, shame it wasent in season for shooting them it wood have been a easy shot at that close a range, there seems to be plenty of rabbits there so will have them next time i go there.the woodlands ok but need to get sat somewhere and wait, you make that much noise walking with all them twigs breaking under foot you scare everything away.theres a nice bit over the little dike which is a rape field where a lot of rabbits are hanging about so i think that will be my first stop good visabity where the woodys have peck it down.i took these pics with my camera so hopefully there are clear. sym Quote Link to post
