s200....my BITCH

Hi all.

 

Well after setting up the s200 the other day, I desided to change the scope again, took off the Bushnell and put the Map Pro 6 on it instead.

Went out for an hour this afternoon to re zero.

 

The s200 is an awsome bit of kit, and I enjoy shooting it as much as I do the HW100, very accurate light weight rifle.

 

After putting in the time zeroing and some practice, I thought Id give her a go in the field this evening.

Went to the permission about 16.30 pulled up in a gateway and sat for a minute looking out over a field.

Got out, and set about getting ready for a mooch.

 

Crossed the road and crept into the opposite gateway, gently doe's it,knelt down and edged my way forward to peer around the corner, a kit was sat out from the hedge at about 25yds, raised the rifle and took the shot....1 down.

 

Opened the gate and made my way across to the corner of the field, sat there for 15 minutes when kit 2 popped out for a look again about 25yd shot, up came the Bitch ( s200 ) and down went the kit.

 

Moved on down the hedgeline a bit, and took up position behind a patch of stinger's 40yds from the bottom corner.

Settled down and waited for the next bunny.

Sure enough, out it came,number 3, right in the corner, but too close to the hedge, so waited for it to move out a bit, when it did, shouldered the Bitch, and off went the AA Field, down went the bunny.

 

Looking for number 4, I went to the other end of the field, and took up position looking down into a dip through some broken bush, edgeing closer to the fence looking down I spotted another kit, lazed at 36yds, up came the Bitch, down went the kit.

Not 20 minutes later number 5 popped out, down he went, again about 36yds.

 

Looked to my right and spotted 2 sat out lazed at 42yds, gently shuffled myself and the Bitch around, and took number 6.

Not 10 minutes later the other one popped back out, so he made the total 7.

 

Number 8 came from the hollow again at 38yds.

 

Started to make my way back to the car along the hedge, and spotted number 9 sat out, dropped very slowly to take the shot, off went the pellet and sent bunny into the air.

Could I find it......no, must have managed to drop into the burrow, couldnt see it.

Im sure it was a kill shot

 

And that as they say was that!!

 

Time to get home and pay the baby sitter

That was a fantastic write up buddy and a lovely portrait of her and her 1st victims.

 

Seems that kits are the order of the day in the Sexy 200 club today.

 

Thats a nice bag, but I saved the best til last, just cotta clean all the blood away from the draining board and sink then I'll get my write up done.

 

Must get myself one of them teddy suits for my baby, I dont like the bikini's at all.

Glad you enjoyed the write up and pic mate.

 

Im not a lover of shooting the Kit's tony, but the farmer want's the field's cleared.

The amount Ive looked at through the scope and let live mounts up.

But yesterday, I thought Id better move a few on.

 

 

The one piece is very comfortable to use mate, I have got used to it now, but at first, I thought it looked like an old German Mauser

 

Out of interest mate, have you tried Napier Hunters through your Baby??

Hey up Bill,

 

I figure we'll have to start our own club soon, the way the S200 are comming into play

 

I've got a new scope on the way for my baby, only 60£

Went for the low mag version its 3.5 to 10 x 50 rather than the 6 to 24 x 60.

Its got Illuminated Ret and side PA / Rangefinding and the Ret is Mildot.

Cant wait to get it as my other scopes are good but not so good in very low light due to the black ret's
