An erly mooch

Recommended Posts

I went for a mooch round the farm at 06.00 on monday with the first gun i ever owned, a SMK12. After being there for 8 min i saw a large crow land on the field about 80 yard away, so i stalked it to about 34 yard. It was looking in my direction so i froze. After waiting what felt a life time the bird carried on eating, so i lifted the gun and aimed just at the top of the large birds big skull. WHAM!!! Its wings spred and it lay still. :clapper: then after walking the grounds for about an hour i spotted a woody sitting in a tree about 28 yard away but it was facing away from me, so a shot in between the sholder blades was used. The woody flapped twice then fell stone dead :) I was now getting peckish so i went home for some grub.

thanks pest

Glad to see another hunter using an SMK

See people, they are just as effective as any other gun in the right hands

Nice going PH1 :clapper:

I'm thinking of taking my 19 out for a walk tomorrow ;)

Mind you I'll have to put in some serious paperwork first as I've not shot her for quite some time.
