Phantom 631
Same way everyone else does Box it, wrap it, take it to the post office and send it recorded delivery or Special delivery. Make sure its insured, but dont tell them what it is as sometimes they dont actually know the Law and will refuse to send it. Just as a point to note, the Royal Mail are legally obliged to carry airguns However Parcel Force are not Phnatom Quote Link to post
rossy08 33
AS said above im all for young shooters and campers for that matter. (by your pics you reminde me of me and my mates at that age) nice to see some are still down the woods/feilds and not on the ps3/xbox thinges. so good on you for that. However by the looks of your pic you all seam to be under the age of 14 and this means that you can not be out hunting with out supervision and must not own a air rifle, you can shoot on land with an adult between the ages of 14-17. the adult must be over the age of 21.. if you need any more help on this or would like me to put it a little clearer and in the full deatiles then just ask. good to see young shooters keep it up but keep it legal. andy Rossy buddy, me thinks you made a little error there bud You can shoot on land unsupervised from the age of 14 if you have permission Its only people under the age of 14 who must be supervised by an appropriate adult who has to be at least 21 Hope thats cleared up that little confusion Phantom phantom i think you might be right there, best clear this up a little. if you are aged between 14 and 17...you may not buy or hire an airgun or ammunition, nor recive either as a gift, but you may borrow an airgun and the ammunition must be brought for you by someone over 17 (ideally by parent) you may use an air gun on privert premises without supervision provided you have the landowner/tennents consent, you will commit a criminal offence if any pellet strays over the boundary of the land that you have permission on. consideration must be givenwhen travalling to you shooting ground. you can'not carry an airgun which must be unloaded and be in a case in a public place unless you are supervised by someone who is at least 21 years old. you must have reasonable excuse for carring an air gun in public places-such as travelling to gun club, gun shop,or land over which you have permission to shoot. as wirtten by the law, lol (not me by the way copied it from documents i have in the shop) sorry for any confustion my bad thanks for pointing that one out to me phantom any how happy hunting lads, an keep up the good bags.
