Alexisrouzee 6
great tips si. i often have trouble juding wind and have missed a few shots where i on a windless day i would have the quarry down. si, does wind effect more on a .22 or .177 cal pellet? great tips si, was gona put a wind indicator near my warrens but wasnt sure if it would spook the bunnies or not?? i guess after a while they would get used to it?? sorry to jump in but si is away from a pc for 3 weeks now i think if he managed to get his flight?? but a .22 is worse in the wind as it has a larger surface area and is (same legal limit gun) travelling slower than a .177. Hi Alex. You been at the Cyder again The old .22 is larger yes, and travels slower, but its far better in the wind, because of its weight. The .177 nip's along and is quicker, but more affected by wind because its so light. thats if they are are shot with the same FPS. ATB. Bill. Quote Link to post
