Lab 10,979
On a slightly diff' note.....a mate of mine picked up someone he knew in his local village, they were both heading to the same place so he told this guy to jump in. 5 miles along the road they got stuck in a snow drift, plod came along and tried to help them out. They then realised that the guy my mate had picked up was known to them so they searched the car.....got nothing, they then searched both of them and the guy that he picked up had a bit weed on him. A few days later my mate got a visit from the local Firearms Officer and his guns were taken of him. He has now lost his license for 5 years and told not to re-apply for atleast another 4. Now the weed was not on him or in his car but in the guys pocket so be careful out there lads. Just put this up to show that they can be right arseholes if they want to be and if you dont know the actual law for fact then keep any knives, cart' or bullets in the house if your are not going out hunting. Certain officers would search certain vehicles depending on what they are looking for. Explain the grounds and its purpose and off you go.

littletimmy 71
Legally, plod don't even need a reason to pull/search you or your car. They don't need to even suspect you of anything, they can simply do it becuase "they wanted to"
