jasper65 6
Found a cracking spot in the Rhodies today underneath where some pigeons was coming in feeding the Ivy Berries, spent a Hour or so in there and accounted for two, Both struck in the swede with H&N Field Target Trophy which layed them to rest. this Gun shot Nicely with Accupell beleive it or not but I fancied a slightly heavier pellet and opted for the FTT's! I tried them before and they was very consistant and proving pretty deadly again avaerageing +/- 12FPS over 5 shots on the chrono.... I'll be sticking to them for the time being until another brand takes my fancy .... Jasp Quote Link to post

aaronpigeonplucker 32
nice shooting mate! i have 14 woody breasts in the freezer myself, i prefer to hunt and eat them much more than rabbits. they fly off if they see someone with a gun from 100 yrds away and even if you do get close enough to them, when they are feeding on ivy berreis they are a chalenge to shoot as they never keep their heads still apart from when they're roosting. good luck with getting your first woody phant! heres an odd law on the general license for woodys, nobody litsens to it though: "you cannot shoot a wood pigeon on the ground unless they are activle destroying crops" Quote Link to post
