bert69 5 Posted March 11, 2010 Report Share Posted March 11, 2010 Well, my girlfriends mum has had one for years, about 3 years ago the engine went into self destruct and to be fair isuzu rebuilt it even tho it was well out of warranty foc, its a t plate and now has about 90k on it, been a really good vehicle apart from the meltdown 3 years ago. langouroux 14 Posted March 22, 2010 Report Share Posted March 22, 2010 i have bought and sold 5 Isuzu troper over the past year and 1 vauxhall brava, and as above the 3.1 is the best. i had and old K reg short wheel base i got at an auction for £500 with BFG tyres....it would go fecking anywhere! i wouldnt touch the newer ones.....so i bought a L200 warrior spent shit load on BFG tyres and to be honest its the best i have ever owned, but it did cost me £10k Quote Link to post Share on other sites

roybo 2,873 Posted April 15, 2010 Report Share Posted April 15, 2010 (edited) i've got a 3.0 trooper now.and as said isuzu have replaced the engine FOC 12months ago but the injectors have gone again they may replace again but have to have it investigated first,great truck when they are running loads of power (156 bhp)great offroad with right tyres ,good on diesel ,but need specialists to work on them need a tech 2 computer for most simple of jobs not a work at home job. i'm about to convert mine to a 3.1 td from an older one,my advice leave alone.
