Ive never really been able to fault his working ability...just his lack of socialising let him down when he was younger so he would hold back when in a pack. Since weve had him he has grown in confidence whilst working with other dogs and is probably the main catch dog when were out. I've put a few threads on with my dogs ratting and will get you some pics up (when my computer lets me!!!).

I've pm'd you aswell...as theres plenty of dogs to choose from!

Bear pretty much replicated himself there typewise. It would be nice to see some plummers by him. 8)

Stormy, I've just been informed that there are - a litter of 4 dog pups, just a few days old by him. When I get some photos of the pups I will let you see them :)

Often wondered why plummers seem to get passed around?

take for instants a bitch called Spangle, i know of 4 owners before she died

each one trying with her, some producing pups.

disapointing isnt it

But the genes get spread about

Sonatal Spangle was bred specificly. For her genes, to be spread about.

Her dam Gaffel was also bred specificly "for the breed" not for work, for the breed to breed a future stud..and guess what we got one or two actualy.

I was after a bitch from her to my dog cerby and geuss what BBB I got one called Silas and she eventualy went on to produce a grandson called Wyremead Ozi (you now BBB the one you call thing!) and geuss what he now has grandsons to!

So Spangle was one of the best "things" that the breed has had! i belive her genes are in the IOM to! and Ireland.

So perhaps not all bad comes from a roaming dog...perhaps if they get an owner that know about plummers and how they are bred then they settle.
