.......not even a THWACK or a BANG Darryl?? :D

Look forward to the pic's mate.

Nope....not even that mate....

I think we saw about a dozen all night but couldnt get anywhere near them due to them being very skittsh and lampshy, even with the dimmer and also the "crunching" frozen ground.

Can't win em all though!

lol see what happens when i sleep in he does the write up and it all falls apart lol

so here goes the longer version

Me n wor kid went out last night/this morning....saw very few rabbits but ended up with shooting 1 each and it was cold!!!

lol na it wasnt a bad night really we started off on the farm permission at catterick (which was very kindly pass onto us from si) cheers mate so the plan was wor kid arrives at mine for midnight and off we go until i got a text sayign going to be late forgot my flask, :wallbash: thats why he shoots nowt to busy drinking tea!! :whistling: mind give him his due was wasnt late must be that car he has you can hear it two streets away before it gets hear :whistling:

so we arrived at the farm for about 00:30 and not a sniff of wind (apart from wor kid   ) so we decided to check zero the rifles before we set off that done off we went meet back at the van for 02:30. i headed up towards the MOD boundry whilst darryl headed in the other way ,after about 1 mile and not a bunny in site i headed down towards the river banks but drew a blank there was well :censored:

off i headed to see is darryl was having any better luck than me ,he had seen a few but even with the dimmer switch very low we couldnt get anywhere near them looks like this permission is going to be a ferreting site we however by then have them new tactical silencers fitted there was frost all over the end of them (just shows how cold it was

back to the van for a well earned cup of tea n a slice of cake ,,,whilst we were having our cuppa we decided there was not much point heading back out so out came the sat nav to see how far our weardale permission was ,45 mile we'll be there by 03:30 it was worth a shot as it was to early to head home so thats what we done this was a site that we hadnt really been to before its a caravan park weve not long had but were only allowed on it out of season and as the season starts in 2 weeks time it would be rude not to .

got there for 03:30 gear on and ding ding round 2 within 30 mins we had the 1st :notworthy: :notworthy: 2 mine a nice little 35mtr head shot and wor kid a 30mtr heart shot (it would of been a head shot but just as he squeazed off the action it decided to stand up on its back legs )still it dropped without a twitch :clapper: :clapper: there was a few about but alot were in the wooded area and the chance of getting a clean kill was slim so we left them to breed cant wait for the end of the caravan season :boxing: there time will come and that was that for another night and we headed home only to be stopped by a bunny that had seen the light well the light of the van and headed straight for us to head but the front wheel ROADKILL :clapper: :clapper: so it ended 3 in the bag ..it dont matter how they die as long as its quick and it dont get much quicker than a 2.5 transit :tongue2:

cheers lads gary wor kid will add his pic but heres mine for now
