littlefish 596
Hope you got them patched up ok and not too expensive. Are they both bitches? I think bitches can be really nasty, neither likes to back down in a scrap.

Guest traceyg
pics added yes both bitches .Lad took dogs out they could smell something down a hole he pulled them away as it was getting dark they just set on each other .
scottishlass 57
pet insurance only really works if the bill runs in to thousands bet the excess would be 200 on a claim
spiritofold 0
We have insurance for our lurcher through directline. The excess is 90 quid. Tested it out not long ago when she ripped her leg open again on some field flint. The total would have been £310!!! Andy
Wxm 1,638
pics added yes both bitches .Lad took dogs out they could smell something down a hole he pulled them away as it was getting dark they just set on each other . if you have 2 dogs near enough the same you would only need to insure 1. unles their chipped
Guest traceyg
Molly went back to the vets today she is up and about. But her stitches have come undone got a bandage round her tummy ,Hope it heals soon
RossM 8,149
if your lad pulled them out one at a time maybe one thought that the other was getting somethething she wasnt therefore jealousy kicked in? or maybe the one that got pulled out 1st, thought the other was what was in the hole as such and nailed her through instinct? meer seconds can cause damage unbeleived, especially in soft skinned dogs. just a couple of suggestions. Hannah4181 260
Dog fighting is just horrible, especially when the dogs in question are generally co habiting without problem. On the subject of pet insurance, yes it works out expensive with multiple dogs, BUT it is an absolute must in my eyes. I have saved thousands on vets bills, and have no concerns or worries when 1 is ill with regard to what the vets can do in terms of exploratory tests. My bitch had an MRI scan last year at Newmarket at a cost of £1100 . . . . That was the last in a long list of tests . . i paid £40 excess!! :notworthy: Hope she's on the mend soon.
