terriers training

Well i am a 14 year old boy and am hoping to get a terrier to solve the problem of fox killing lambs on my auntie's farm and one round about her so i was wondering how do i train them to go down the DENS and get the fox out of there and also which is the best breed for this kind job??

any other info on this would be much appreciated...thank you

The best advice i can give pal is get someone trustworthy who knows the game and bring him on ur permission n let him show u how its done n knows the laws in ur country..

awryt mate . i trained my jrt by putin a rabbit down old sets and then send the dog down.dont no if this is a very go wae but it worked for me

Simple,buy one thats already working fox but like someone pointed out take someone knowledgeable with you and get him to show you the ropes!

i've never been able to train a terrier yet to go down holes,it's either in the dog or it's not,when it's ready it will go in,hopefully it's gone in because it knows there is something in,it won't do to force a terrier down a hole,the dog's nose is better than yours,and if the dog's spirit is willing,so be it,
