Rainmaker 7
I was reading this yesterday. What a shame and a sad waste of life According to the scraps of info on YouTube (she was a decent singer imho), she liked her fishing so more one of us than not. I wish we had 'yotes here too - it'd be something else for the dogs to play with and might just make the nosey arsed hikers stay in Wetherspoons
Buch 145
Yer some of the yanks on here said they were clever enought to try and cut off one of there dogs and try to kill it. I guess this realy does show more like small wolves then big foxes.

I guess this realy does show more like small wolves then big foxes. They are smallish...if you shoot one over 40 lbs than it's a big coyote. And during long chases they do seem to have enough cognizant thought to create a situation that gives them a bit of an advantage.
Attack Fell Terrier 864
That's a shame, only a young girl at the age of 19 and lose her life like that is tragic. Even though it is rare, hopefully some good will come of this and people who like to go out into the sticks on their own over there will take precautions with them so it doesn't happen again. RicW 67
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/8331106.stm Not much to say realy. Could do with some coyotes here to kill the anits when they walk alone in the woods. Just for the record, wolves, dogs, and coyotes are now all classed as the same species, Canis canis. The different beasts are regarded as sub-species, meaning that they do not interbreed in the wild but can produce fertile offspring in captivity. Dogs, Canis canis canis, include dingoes and African wild dogs. You must all have read about dingoes attacking people? There is no authenticated case of wolves attacking humans, but the more dog-like they get the more dangerous they become. Tragic about the lass, she was obviously a really good person and she had a lovely voice. Pity she didn't have a long mag shotgun. Ric
