foxes with mixie

Recommended Posts

Putting aside the fact that foxes are not affected by mixi, ask your self a couple of simple questions....

1. What would the justification be for any kind of biological control of foxes?

2. What do you think the reaction of the general public (rather than the fieldsports community) be?

When you've worked that out, promise yourself you will never listen to silly stories again......... :whistling:

3. What if it mutated and hit the dog populous?

what if the mutation becamepart human and these mutant dog people enslaved us and took over the world???

dooomed dooomed doomed i tell theeeee were all DOOOOOOMED!!!!

"Christ Sake ,"I thought , "How bl**din silly are things getting with folk believing that the government is going to control the fox population by releasing a form of vulpine myxomatosis ".

Then I read the above quote from Garypco who subtley reminds us of the danger of viral mutation and suddenly the viability of such a scheme seems a potential reality.

Yes, suppose the boffins have created a strain of myxy that crosses the species barrier into foxes . Then, as Garypco suggests , imagine a whole litter of horrificly mutated "man-cubs" -the product of unnatural relations twixt short-sighted young fellow and a slow vixen...... Then stir in another biological demon .A bite from an illegally imported and rabid monkey.... Suppose these beasts did actually sieze power...

Imagine the consequenses. ....Ravening ,greedy ,sly ,thieving ,dribbling,bug-eyed beasts lording -it over a frustrated and down-trodden population !

Nah . On second thoughts it could never happen :whistling:
