quite right you only need a few places of permision to keep you covered some folk even have pest control companies . or a bit of paid mole control can gain alot of access to places.

Im no taxman UNFIT. I DO NOT believe a man can make a living from one dog lamping alone. I\\\'ve heard it claimed by a few-these people are invariably living on benefits and topping it up with a little cash from filched game.

A man would need a never ending supply of game and outlets for it. This would require the lamper to venture further and further afield as the game was depleted or educated,as it would be by regular lamping. The further afield,the less time to catch-not withstanding having to find game rich country to supply your game. YOU CANT CATCH THEM TWICE!

then take into account moon,poor conditions, injury-no UNFIT,i dont buy it.

The romantic image of living off lamping does not add up if you do some simple maths.

i wonder if any one could live of the land in such a large area as the FOREST OF DEAN with all its sourounding rivers FULL OF SALMON and ,TROUT , and tidal waters FULL OF ALL SORTS OF FISH TO BE SOLD OR EATEN and in the fields and woods you have DEER ,BOAR ,RABBITS ,HARES ,WALLABIES ,yes they are here as well as BIG CATS ,HUNDREDS OF PHEASANTS SHOOTS ,WILD AMERICAN TURKEYS ,QUAIL , DUCKS plus all the vermin that needs sorting by some one at a price ,well the list could go on ,but i realy dont think it would be possible my self ,so i would have to agree with every one else ,and as for out lets for all this game and fish ,of course your average jo would not buy it a lot cheaper than they could from any shop ,even if it was all fresh and not pumped with antibiotics to keep it alive . and i wonder if every time you got pulled in a motor you could explain where you got the fish or game from legally ,would the law keep on pestering you ,just some of my thoughts that would make it impossible to do so . we can only dream of such a life .

Hey i've been insulted by experts my man! I could return with the old saying-empty vessels make the most noise,but wouldn't stoop so low. (See-irony-i get it!) And you can be assured i will work a lot harder to pay more tax for your retirement fund.
