They are just ordinary members who get a few extra responsibilities on here and inboxes full of stupid messages. Why should they sort your lives out for you? No good making contact with a complete potentially dishonest person through the internet, promising each other the world then coming on whining when it falls short of what you expected. People will do to you what you let them. Be clear and concise about what you expect from a deal, behave properly so that if it does go wrong it wasn't your fault. Most importantly of all, if it does go wrong then name and shame the member, but remember, they owe you f**k all they are not in your front room shaking your hand on a deal, they are miles away thinking of ways to rip you off! If you make a deal with someone and it goes wrong, then it's down to you both, it's not anyone elses fault, no good going crying to Mummy. But make sure you "out" the person who let you down, that way they'll have trouble messing anyone else around. Oh and yeah ................ This ain't ebay! Don't expect it to work the same! Lots of love from a decent lad who's sick of hearing about mugs being ripped by chancers, they only rip you because you let them! Best step forward? Stop the buying and selling of dogs on here, let it be someone elses problem. If you removed that section, you'd remove most of the dicks on here and about % of the trouble! If you find that you have been messed about and ripped off, then in the first instance it is your fault for not taking that time to look into the man your buying off or selling to. The Mods can warn/ban members for this sort of behaviour. You have no idea how many are banned and warned for it as that is between the Member and the Mod concerned but it does happen and very often. One thing that every member is capable of doing is reporting an unreliable member to a Mod. There is not a member on here who cannot send a PM or figure out where the Report button is. If we don't know, then we can't help. I think Feedback on Good or Bad sellers is a good idea and I'll certainly put forward the suggestion. But in the mean time, just do you bloody homework! The for sale section was put there so like minded individuals could get rid of equipment they didn't need, or find something they did need. I don't see a problem with comments on threads there, after all it's an open forum, not some type of classified ad service. If you want to sell shit without the 'hassle' of people commenting on it, pay for an ad somewhere else like everybody else does.
