The Hazards Of Rat Shooting

Recommended Posts

As the title suggests had a mishap whilst out rat shooting in the calf pens at my work not so long back. Took a shot at a fat little b*****d and the pellet ricocheted back of the wall and came back to say hello to the side of my head.

Had an operation 4 weeks ago to try to remove it but they couldn't get it out. And by the way it bloody well hurt and it's only a 11ftlb springer.

When it happened and thats not my bathroom at home its the shower room at work.

After the operation the scar goes from my ear to three quaters across my head something to tell the grankids.

But at least the rat died thats the main thing.

so your telling me you wear eye protection while lamping or in dim;y lit places? i can understand clay pigeon or target but not looking for rats.

i was welder by trade mate so dont ty and mug me off with your list lol , i wouldnt dream of grinding / welding in a room with a torch as the only light .

this was an accident and they do happen, just like the thousands of welders everyday who have welded for years end up going home with arc eye.

main thing is he is going to be ok
