SEAN3513 7 Posted June 27, 2009 Report Share Posted June 27, 2009 sorry if theres any caravaners on here, but this is just an observation, perhaps someone can explain ??? people that live in streets with a pub near by, in house's, with hot and cold running water, central heating and electricity attach a very small version of their house to the back of their car and drive hundreds of miles to a field with a pub in it and set up their very small versions of their houses next to other people doing the same........making a STREET !!!!!....why...just stay where you are???? and they say......."we have hot and cold water, ccentral heating , toilet, shower its like home from home" JUST LIKE A f*****g HOTEL THEN !!!!!!!!!! sorry just dont get it......camping yes, as that is a different experience. cheers sean Quote Link to post Share on other sites

dawnraider09 75 Posted June 27, 2009 Report Share Posted June 27, 2009 my mate asked me if i wanted to go camping the outher day with his boy and my two lads,i was right up for it saying it would be great for them to have a fire and a few bangers,he said nah we cant have a fire on the camp site anyway we can go to the bar,well im not one to turn my nose up at a bevvy but camping is camping,uncomfortable burnt grub cold in the morning and your mouth tasting like a dog has laid a royster or two in there,but he wanted live entertainment showers in the morning and a blow up lilo for a bed, ill stay at home cheers and get mashed on the sofa. I like camping.... i have a caravan but its for work purposes and it gets stayed in for 2weeks every year, however i also have a tent and it lives in the boot of my car this time of year. Its great to just go somewhere with all your mates, pitch the tents... always in a big circle around a campfire, get drunk and sit out under the stars all night having a good laugh.... cook some spuds and roast a rabbit or two on the fire.... who needs caravan holidays on an overpriced "resort".
