The wrecking crew

Just saw the dvd for the 1st time.I am not a fox lamping participant so I ask for your opinion. How do the the dogs on the dvd rate as fox controllers?I thought when they connected they were very effiecent, though I thought 1 or 2 may be lacking in some departments, but again if these were young dogs learning their trade they would make ye proud. They certainly mopped up the foxes with 7's and such in the bag.1 thing I thought too is they showed the dogs in all aspects of the sport,no glossing over, they showed the misses too which I thought was very fair of them.I watched and sometimes I gasped and wondered how the hell they missed that fox and other times I was surprised they caught others so quickly. What is your opinion of the dogs,no''my dog would be better'' comments just were they the creme of the crop or fairly average dogs.I wouldnt pass a judgement on them as I have no knoweledge of out and out foxing lurchers.Very enjoyable dvd and I know the owners were not boasting that they had the best dogs but were really enjoying what they were doing and controlling the vermin quiet well too.

I disagree with this point mate... when they connected they made a big job of it a lot of the time IMHO!

I quite liked the black pair of bitches, good lamp dogs, but not very hard. Still it is a decent watch with some good camera work and some nice courses, and they show the misses as well as the catches, they give their dogs some graft so hats off to them.

Well as I say I wouldnt have the experience to say wether they were as good as they come or not but they do get out and work the dogs. There was a cream lurcher on it and it was far superior than the others I thought, but I may be wrong on that too lol.

in all fairness these lads are out working these dogs hard week in week out, ok they miss alot of easy ones iv seen my dog miss easy ones and catch almost impossible ones but thats just life theres foxes which are too good for the dogs on the night, they show catches and misses too which i think alot of people wouldnt. i like watching them 2 black and white's run dont know what they were dogs or bitches but the 1 with the most white on catches most the foxes and they do their job pretty well IMO, i still think 2 bullx's should kill foxes alot quicker than them mind if seen 2 bull x's stretch a fox in less then 10 seconds but sadly where i live there's not enough to go at like they have, decent dogs, seem decent boys and they have decent nights out, what more could you want eh? 1 thing that i didn't understand though was why were all them boys on the hole once the fox was under? good dvd 1 of the best iv seen
