In ansaw to Farlap, no I dont think I have missed the point here, there show stock and the show dachshunds in the UK are a world apart, I think I made my feelings clear on this subject in another post on the UK Teckel society, which at one point got rather heated, I still stand by what I said, no way would I want any UK KC blood in a working teckel/dachshund in my kennels, this is only my opinion but why would any one want to dilute good working blood with UK KC stock, now I dont want to take any thing away from this exellent thread, if we are going to talk of UK KC dogs lets open another thre

Well said Labs and lurchers, this breed is going to take off over here in the next few years belive me, and working blood for abroard and not the KC stock is the only way to go, a big thanks to Manipulus for letting us see these wonderfull little hounds, and please keep it coming, and the lest said about pathetic going on either side of the water the better, after all none of us are whiter than white

These little hound have a nose second to none and when unsighted in wood land you would think there was a pack of english foxhounds in there, there voice is so good, the scotish lads work them in harness as there not adverce to droping into the nearest billy set

My bitch came from Colin Didrikson the aurthor in scotland, him and a couple of mate up there have imported working stock from germany and beligum, one of the guys has the contract to cull deer on MOD land and in the last year him and his co workers have taken over 1000 head of deer using these little hounds, the litter where writen about in Earthdog Running Dog July 2008 issue She as had her nose to the ground from day one We will definetly be getting another of the same breeding in the future

will.f here is the 8x4 with a ferret court front fitted, we also raise the sleeping quarter floor so as to give the ferrets mor floor space to run around, we also do the same unit for poultry with nest boxes fit instead of a bedding box as in the ferret court

Hunterpoppy - you seemed to have missed the point which I will clarify. The fact that you are trying to make a litte bit of money for yourself does not bother me - its the fact that to build up my business to where it is now I have over the years often spent 16 hour days working, paying taxes, rent and rates on property, insurance, etc etc ect at times often going without drawing a wage in an effort to build a buisness and making sure others get paid - all to have someone like you come along working from your back garden and undercutting me by a £5 for an inferior product that in the future
