hello bob the best bullx i ever had was a bull/grey x bull/grey it was the fastest lurcher i have ever seen and extremialy clever natural hunting ability was amazing very heavily built and quite long a strange looking dog caught more rabbits per night than my collie/grey. AND AS GAME AS THEY COME, has any one else had a 2nd generation bullx your thoughts (lets keep it to a qestion rather than a debate lads ) CHEERS

agree with that mate ive stated before weve only bred to dogs we know the origins of,but just out crossed the first of our line which was the best one so far to an english sprint greyhound which has never been tried on any quarry but was a well known racer the 3 dogs were put with sound people to see how they come along and the best one will beput across the line bred grandaughter out of his father also which are all 1/2 1/2 to produce 5/8 3/8 it gets a bit confusing i know
-
agreed Was that a hint of sarcasm or did i miss something... no mate sorry missed you out saw his post first wasn,t aimed at you just in general people blame dog instead of themseves yes unless you are buying a garenteed dog of someone you know thats up and going no pup is 100% to do the job you want but you have a better chance of a good one from tried tested stock thats produceing time and time again

transit vans above1998 have a built in seperate concaved mirror below it woks quite well dont know if it is sold for other models

i know what i would chose but its personal choice but ideally you need to know what was in the make up of the sire and the dam unless the pups come from someone you trust you need to know cause puppy pedlers will tell you anything ive bought from a known source were i know the breeding and they have been repeat breedings that have come good i bred my dog a few times only to bitches that are good and i know there backgrounds

im not glorifying dog fighting i was just stating the reason why bull is put into these lurchers/greyhounds,answering the mans question and clarifying what type of bull terriers are used and why.i didnt mean the sire to my bull cross was a fighting dog in the sense that it fights to date just that the pitbull in genral is a fighting strain and that drive/determination /tenacity is an ingedient needed in my perticuler all round type of hunting.for instance one of my other dogs is a 20'whippit/greyhound bitch lovely on some of the terrain in devon (small fields)only rabbits as anything else she

the bull is usually american or long legged staff and from fighting line of dogs it gives the lurcher more tanacity biting power and a massive pain barrier these dogs never seem to give up and when bull is intruduced to any lurcher it seems to give them that little bit extra go, ive seen 12 different dogs/bitches work they have all been self entering at about 10 months and grew to very good lurchers on all quarry, i was put of them for years as i was told they were thick as shit but I've yet to see a stupid one. The first one i saw was 12 years ago, i bought one 2 years ago and have never look
