    Wasps

Just bin the bedding, have you noticed this activity before? Be careful when binning it for obvious reasons.
  3. Ant powder? It's people like you who I think are complete pricks. Ant powder is not approved for wasps thus making it illegal. Abarett that's ridiculous he must know that's really cheap, what did you do? beat the other firm or tell him that's decent? All of my contracts are monthly but I know most bigger firms are quarterly. From a monitory point of view I feel monthly is better.
  4. I sell mine £10.00 a peice, that's unadvertised and to trusted people I know. It's literally just to cover a little bit of food money back.
  5. As far as I was aware voles are protected, you could ask you local barn owl or kestrel to pop in I guess...
  6. Do rentokil really charge that much?! I do some domestic jobs for a pub landlord and he reckons when their contract (with rentokil in the pub) is up they will use me. He reckons that rentokil only charge him £32.00 a month all in, surely that's gotta be a lie. I can see them charging that just for the monitory programme but stinging them when It comes to treatments.
  7. I do a 50% deposit, then they pay the rest on completion it all got worked out on in the end. In all seriousness I'm not using glue boards again.
  8. Rats have immunities to rodenticides that can be purchased for amateur use, rodenticides such as diffenacoum & bromadialone. Proffesional indoor baits such a brodifacoum, flocoumafen & dithethialone are very effective used in the right hands. Totally agree with your comment on amateur Caracas disposal, it's criminal really & we get the blame when a professional has so much to go through to rid his carcasses. Terriers are a extremely big part of control in the right situation. On some commercial kitchen jobs, It's just not feasible to have my dogs running all over the kitchen.
  9. I've had a talk with the husband and he's the one who's upset. I've agreed to not use be boards, but I've explained it may take longer that usual because they're not going for the bait so I'll have to keep working with the snappers. Tbh jack there's so many holes in the roof, loft & plaster board in the cupboard, he said he would rather do it himself. I turned up at the job (even though he signed my record sheet not to), he pulled all of my boxes &traps out n put them in a plastic bag in the garden out of rage. I explained doing that will prolong the process too costing more money.
  10. Yes I have mate, the job was literally round the corner from me, I check morning & evening, just a coincidence he has had a look and there's one there. Up until now they have not been taking any grain, pasta or paste. I put a few glue boards down the help me out. No I agree I don't think I'm going to use glue boards again tbh. Not paying is not an option because they disliked what they saw. I've got one pack in the van and I think that will be where they stay.
  11. So I've done a mouse job last week, I do my boxes with some saka rat d, got some snappers and a few glue boards, the Husband (who I haven't met), has decided to pull the bath panel off and sees a half alive mouse on the board and decides the dispatch the mouse & remove all of the traps. Even though on my treatment record it says do not touch, tamper or move any bait boxes or traps. Now they are refusing to pay for the full treatment as they want to terminate. Grrrrrrrr people piss me off.
  12. Out and about, I am also a pestie, organisations as the above are always going to be biased, with no real concrete evidence, they are alway going to blame the easiest option, it's their scape goat & probally makes them all feel a lot better and like they're doing something for their cause. Ironically, I expect most pest controllers got into their proffesional through a love & interest of nature, well I did anyway . The general publics view of pest control is that we are small brained Neanderthals, throwing poison here there & everywhere, not thinking of the consequenc
  13. That Ricky Clark from environ pest control makes me laugh, he says I'm a traditional Londoner, next he says me and my brother are the last of the true terrier men in London. I didn't know there was many in London? Also that dog is appalling he says, I film my work to show people how quick and humane the death is. I'm fecking sorry but that ain't quick in the vid. The dog didn't shake the poor rat for a long time .
  14. Any one used it? If so what are the reviews
  15. I'm a terrier man and a professional pest controller, There is nothing more I love than working my dogs on rats but in commercial & domestic environments you can't always expect the land or property owner to be okay with dogs running all over their property. You can have the best terrier in the country you but aren't going to gain 100% effective control. The public love the idea but it ain't guna happen
  16. I know this post isn't about bait but I find apples really good for cageing rabbits. I've also tied bait to the top of the cage, dangling about two inch down so the mice can't teach it from the top of the bottom.
  17. Be good and what you do and like smc said repeat business & word of mouth. You could get 100 jobs in a day if you're shite, you're not going to get more work
  18. The only legalities are regarding honey bees, bumbles do not have any legislation round them at all (well not yet anyway!). But to be fair I think it's mad bees are not protected
  19. £10?!? That's f***ing ridiculous, they can't be using ficam or any proffesional checmicals surely?
  20. I've only has 2 wasp jobs this week, but what do you expect seeing is there is some prick advertising for £25 on Facebook, cost is a first with most people
