LL what I am trying to say is, irrelevant of this mysterious information that you 100% know to be true that you cannot share with us, the fact the dog is dead and the RSPCA is responsible is enough for me to support dymented trying to hold them accountable and punished for this.
-
As far as I can make out everyone is on the same page??! Dymented's dog was killed by another whilst in the care of the RSPCA. That incident was obviously beyond the control of dymented as the dogs were legally and physically in the care of the RSPCA. The fact the dog was killed shows the RSPCA is negligent in caring for the dog. Lamping Loon I believe that it is this, though I cannot speak on behalf of others on here, that everyone has the issue with; THE DOG WAS KILLED WHILST IN THE RSPCA'S CARE. So if people on here decide to donate towards the case as they feel the RSPCA should be

This is brilliant... and where we are all going wrong. We aren't 'training' our dogs to catch... If only we had known!!!!

Sounds like a b*llend. People like him are the reason this country is overrun with badly bred, not fit for purpose dogs (and horses). Just ignore him, you'd have more chance of having a sensible conversation with your collie x!!

Cover Cuts While Out Hunting
Little Huntress replied to the trunk's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
As socks says, just make sure you clean it all off afterwards as air needs to get to it to heal or pop some vetwrap over it if he won't bother with it. -

How Have I Missed This Site?
Little Huntress replied to Orion in Bucks's topic in New Member Introductions
Hi Orion. Welcome! I'm the other side of Oxford from you. -
I've used pet protect with pup as a crossbreed and its £11 a month. In process of making a claim for £2350 vets bill. They've dealt directly with vets re claim and the excess was £50. Vet bill cover is £4k a year. Would recommend them.

A woman in my village, having never had a dog in her life, has just got herself a collie pup!! I can predict how this is going to go... especially as she has a garden full of cats and chickens and is next door to a sheep field. I give it 2 months before its on pre loved

It makes me so angry, same as ads that say they are rehoming a 5 month old pup because they are moving house or work commitments... Why take the dog on in the first place?! Because there too many effing idiots are breeding shitty cavapoos or jackawhatsits or inbred pure breeds that look all cute and fluffy at 8 wks and are sold to people who haven't got a clue what they are doing. I hate it.

Just so I know... Should he be sleeping on top of or under the duvet at night?? So I've got to be able to sew as well as cook and clean... Don't expect much do you boys??!! how the f**k do u know oh so every body needs heat lamps now or the dogs are going to be f****d if ye work it and av arthritis by the age of 4 .never heard of fookin mushroomI know because by the way you speak I have probably kept dogs longer than you have been alive and my father and his father before him kept dogs so I have seen the progression and know when some things have changed for the better

Heat lamp [bANNED TEXT] for dogs ware fare coats or get some extra beddin unless ye avin pups thats the women in ye that worrien tomuch Nothing wrong with giving dogs as much comfort as you can it does not turn them into faggots because you give them abit of heat or suddenly start jacking i feel bad now for cleaning them out changing there water everyday turning the heat lamps on in winter infact i might just go outside and kick the shiote outta them just to toughen them up I may not be an expert with running dogs but I know my hunters and gun dogs. Thanks Paulf, I live in expensive area where all the prices are put up but going home to Devon this weekend so will call into Mole Valley and have a look. Why red not white Socks? Sorry if its a stupid question... Snappeer I have no idea what you are talking about!! The dogs live in the house but I am setting up a stone outbuilding as a kennel for the day as they get back wet (and cold!) from the yard in the morning and don't want them trashing the house. Have an 10 year old lab with hip dysplasia so don't want him getting chilly!! Soft I know but saves on the metacam! Thanks the

Any recommendations for a heat lamp for kennels please? Any makes better than others? Where is best to get one? And do I need to get to get anything done to electrics to run it? Thought it may be cheaper to get one now then wait until it turns cold. Thanks

Teddog, if you want to keep me in idle luxury so I can get out of bed when I please, work the dog when I fancy it and hunt the horse and all I've got to do is rustle up a bit of grub I'm keen! actually i've always insisted that any woman with me doesn't work because i like to come home from work to a tidy house, dinner in the oven and the children are clean.i'm in the south west with a very similar dog to yours(bull/grayxsaluki/gray).who knows what could happen. Fork me.....................I was expecting Cilla black to chip in next. Hello Cilla I'm Teddog and from the south west....

Thanks Vin, chomping at the bit to go!
-
Thanks vin, he is not very little- just under 27" with a tad more height to come and some filling out. I'm 5'1 so we look an right pair! I grew up hunting to hounds and doing a bit with the terrier men. Enjoy a bit of shooting and beating, in big shooting country here. A few friends have got running dogs, I loved watching them work, got the bug and got my boy this spring. Only night time escapades so far. Killing and cooking I'm fine but I need someone to teach me the butchery bit in the middle!
-
Haha! Well I am sorted then because he is pretty much brindle all over and we all know the white bits slow them down... No chips at Casa Brindle.... got to be fit to keep up with the dog!
