It's hard catching deer in woods. When dogs up there arse in the open and deer slows down before the wood block you catch them. When they get into thick woods (non forestry) very hard to catch they seem to spring over cover. Had dog break it's neck ran into tree, dead on spot chasing one. Win some you lose some, dog can break it's neck picking a rabbit up in a field running into a rock.

Do you think they will role in to Ukraine? I can't see it. I think Putin was securing his assets in Crimea. He has a lot of military assets there. He got pushed into a corner and had to react.

Thing is mate it was worse 25 years ago. The Ira f***ing hammered troops and civilians in the uk for years and got a way with some shit war sentence then got a pardon. The problem is it's always going be a lab/con in power. I find most of the people up in Scotland only vote for labour as they hate the torries and hate salmond. Think in Scotland you would be able to turn the majority of votes easier than down south. Down south is problem with con strong hold.

It was a bit of luck and due to Argie conscripts been weak. If the Argies had dug in good defence and had couple thousand good troops. They could have held those high grounds for 10 years lol We would have been beaten down south. If it wasn't for the fact the Argies pilots were flying to low they would have smashed nearly all our fleet.

I can see the point in Iraq, the oil. Iraq will be paying of the liberation and war debt with their oil assets. Only good thing that come out of the 2001 and afghan shite is it stopped the IRA and their nonsense dead in their tracks.

There isn't much troops that could do what happened in the Falklands. The uk has only got maybe 2 or 3 battle groups available that could what they done in Falklands during the 82. It was luck a bit of luck and balls from thatcher that we took em back to be fair.

Thing is I think a lot of the Crimea has been blown out of control. Someone has been causing the unrest in Kiev for few years now. I don't know what they expected Putin to do as he has and always had a lot of assets in Crimea. The west has caused the unrest all Putin has done is secured has assets in Crimea.

You can't compare afghan with Falklands it's totally different situation. still don't understand afghan it's a mystery to me. From day one it was a waste of fooking time. It's true. We have gone back about 20 years in military power in the past few years. In reality we couldn't do Fook all unless backed by NATO or allies. We must be one of very few countries that don't control our own assets.

But that's what gives us energy security, the Russians would have to stop supplying Europe to stop Norway etc supplying us by creating higher demand for gas in Europe. They can't just turn off the taps to the UK without severely damaging their own exports to a much wider market of the whole of Europe. Suddenly everybody starts questioning their own energy security and Russia have just set their economic recovery back another couple decades untill folks start trusting them again. I said we would utterly f**k Argentina, which we would and that what we have right now is very capable of dealing with intrusive Russian destroyers and bombers, which they are. That's all mate.
